1 loaf of french bread
1/2 c. heavy cream
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, divided
1/4 c. sugar
3 c. apples
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Break french bread into 1-2 inch cubes. transfer to a large bowl. Mix eggs, heavy cream, & 1/2 tsp. cinnamon together. Pour mixture over bread and mix.
In a small bowl, mix 2 tsp. cinnamon & sugar well.
Peel, core, slice apples. Add 1 1/2 c. apples to bottom of a 8 X 8 dish.Spray dish with Pam spray. Sprinkle with cinnamon an sugar mixture. Cover apples with 1/2 of the remaining apples & add bread, repeat layering until bread and apples are all in the baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve hot with maple syrup.
