Homemade Strawberry Jam is so good and for an extra bonus is it can be used for other things such as pancake or waffles, ice cream topping, or mixed in yogurt just to name a few!
4 c. strawberries, mashed
4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1 box Sure-Jell fruit pectin
plastic storage containers or glass jars
Mix mashed strawberries and sugar into large mixing bowl, Let sit 10 minutes.
Boil water and fruit pectin. stir into fruit mixture. Stir for a few minutes until sugar dissolves. Fill plastic containers or jars. Allow to sit, at room temperature, on the counter for 24 hours. Jam is ready to use.
Refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze for up to a year.
